DRE ReportsMilitary Applicant Annual Report - Calendar Year 2023![]() The Assembly Business and Professions Committee and the Senate Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee hold joint sunset review oversight hearings to review State boards and bureaus under the Department of Consumer Affairs. State boards and bureaus are responsible for protecting consumers and the public and regulating the professionals they license. Military Applicant Annual Report - Calendar Year 2022 ![]() As required by Assembly Bill 107 (Salas, Chapter 693, Statutes of 2021), the DRE Military Applicant Report provides a summary of the data of military, veteran, and spouse license applications. This includes data on the number of expedited licenses issued and denied per calendar year, and the average length of time between application and expedited license issuance. DRE is required to annually post this report on its website and submit it to the legislature. Application Denial Report - Fiscal Year 2020-21 ![]() 2023 As required by Assembly Bill 2138 (Chapter 995, Statutes of 2018), the DRE Application Denial Report provides a summary of the demographic data of license applicants as well as numerous data points regarding applications. This includes data on the number of applications received for each license, the number of applications requiring a criminal history inquiry, the number of applicants with a criminal record who provided evidence of mitigation or rehabilitation, and several other points. DRE is required to annually post this report on its website and submit it to the Legislature. |
